Pink for Pauahi

In honor of Kamehameha Schools founder Ke Aliʻi Bernice Pauahi Pākī Bishop and her courageous battle with breast cancer, Windward Mall is lighting up pink all month long! We recognize National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with “Pink for Pauahi” to raise awareness about preventing breast cancer. Studies have shown that Native Hawaiian women have the highest incidence and mortality rates from breast cancer. Spread the word about healthy living, early detection, targeted treatment, and the road to recovery. Mahalo to all who honor the beloved princess by taking part in the #PinkforPauahi campaign from Sunday, Oct. 1 through Tuesday, Oct. 31.
